[OSENWORLD] Ahead of their comeback with the new single Dirty Work on June 27, aespa (under SM Entertainment) electrified the stage at Morocco’s Mawazine Festival, becoming the first-ever K-pop girl group to headline Morocco’s globally celebrated music festival.
Performing on June 24 (local time) at the festival’s main stage, OLM SOUISSI in Rabat, the quartet delivered an explosive set filled with signature energy and high-powered choreography. Their performance captivated thousands of attendees, marking another milestone in their growing international career.
The Mawazine Festival, held annually in the Moroccan capital since 2001, has grown into one of the largest music festivals in the world by audience size. This year’s star-studded lineup also featured global icons such as Will Smith, 50 Cent, Becky G, and Lil Baby—aespa stood out as one of the festival’s key headliners.
aespa’s setlist for the night featured a dynamic blend of their latest hits and fan favorites. Highlights included 2023 viral smashes Supernova, Armageddon, and Whiplash, as well as megahits like Next Level and Spicy. They also showcased tracks that highlight their unique experimental edge—such as ænergy and Set The Tone—alongside emotionally driven vocal pieces like Flights, Not Feelings and Live My Life. English-language performances of Better Things and Hold On Tight rounded out a thrilling 11-song set enhanced by a full live band.

No strangers to global stages, aespa have previously performed at iconic festivals including Coachella, The Governors Ball, GMA Summer Concert Series, Outside Lands, and GMO SONIC. With each stage, they’ve honed their live performance skills and have continued building a loyal international fanbase.
aespa’s new single Dirty Work drops June 27 at 1 PM KST across all major music platforms. The single will feature four versions: the original title track, a featured version with Flo Milli, an English version, and an instrumental.
