[OSENWORLD] The buzz around Netflix’s animated action film K-Pop Demon Hunters continues to build—and now its original soundtrack is making waves across the globe.

According to the music tracking site SpotifySnapshot on June 27 (KST), the K-Pop Demon Hunters OST hit an astonishing 19,817,773 streams in a single day on June 26, making it the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single day. That marks a staggering 1,134% jump from its debut day, which saw just over 1.6 million streams. 

Leading the pack is the track “사랑인가봐 Love, Maybe,” which has already amassed a cumulative 92,144,522 streams—far outpacing the other 11 songs featured on the album.

While Spotify has yet to officially confirm the record, real-time tracking alone shows just how fast the soundtrack’s global popularity is climbing.

Meanwhile, K-Pop Demon Hunters is also dominating Netflix’s global charts. As of June 26, the film has held the No. 1 spot in Netflix’s global film category for six consecutive days, according to streaming analytics site FlixPatrol.

While its global dominance has eased slightly since its June 24 peak—when it topped charts in 41 countries—the animated feature remains the most-watched film in 23 countries.

The film centers around a fictional K-pop girl group that moonlights as demon hunters, blending slick musical numbers, stylized action, and uniquely Korean cultural motifs. Inspired by BTS’s mega-hit “Dynamite,” the project has struck a chord with viewers worldwide thanks to its vibrant concept and genre-mashing appeal.

27일(한국시간) 해외 음원 통계 커뮤니티 '스포티파이스냅샷'에 따르면 '케이팝 데몬 헌터스' OST는 26일 하루 동안 1981만 7773회 스트리밍을 기록, 스포티파이 하루 최다 스트리밍 앨범이 됐다고 밝혔다. 

첫날 160만 4875회 스트리밍된 것과 비교하면 무려 1134%가 증가한 수치다. 특히 '사랑인가봐 Love, Maybe'는 12개 삽입곡 중 가장 많은 9214만 4522회 누적 스트리밍돼 단연 최고 인기를 누리고 있다. 

아직 이 수치에 대한 스포티파이의 공식 발표는 없는 상태다. 하지만 실시간 집계 데이터만으로도 '케이팝 데몬 헌터스' OST의 글로벌 인기를 체감할 수 있다. 

이날 온라인동영상서비스( OTT) 순위 집계 사이트 '플릭스패트롤(FlixPatrol)'에 따르면 지난 20일 공개된 '케이팝 데몬 헌터스'는 6일 연속 넷플릭스 영화 부문 전체 1위를 달리고 있다. 

'케이팝 데몬 헌터스'의 인기는 지난 24일 기준 총 41개국에서 1위를 차지한 것에 비해 다소 누그러졌다. 하지만 여전히 23개국에서 선두를 지켜 인기를 유지하고 있다. 

'케이팝 데몬 헌터스'는 K팝 걸그룹 멤버들이 악마를 사냥한다는 독특한 설정의 애니메이션이다. BTS의 '다이너마이트'에서 영감을 받아 제작됐으며, 음악, 액션, 한국적 요소가 결합한 독창적인 설정으로 전 세계 시청자들의 주목을 받고 있다.
