[OSENWORLD] K-pop soloist Wonho is winning praise for his spot-on tribute to Saja Boys, the fictional boy band featured in the Netflix animated film KPOP Demon Hunters.
On July 9, Highline Entertainment released a new performance video on its official YouTube channel, featuring Wonho’s cover of the tracks “SODA POP” and “Your Idol” — both originally performed by Saja Boys, the in-universe idol group from the viral action-musical hybrid.
Wonho appeared in a yellow beanie, floral shirt, and jeans — a spot-on recreation of Abby, one of the animated group’s lead members. His attention to detail stunned fans who instantly recognized the homage.
Wonho gave “SODA POP” a fresh twist, infusing it with his signature smooth vocals and emotional nuance. He also delivered a flawless take on the track’s sharp yet expressive choreography, further proving his elite dance skills.
The cover arrives just ahead of Wonho’s upcoming STAY AWAKE South America tour, which kicks off in Santiago, Chile on July 12, followed by São Paulo on July 15, Monterrey on July 18, and Mexico City on July 20.
