[OSENWORLD] The six-member girl group BEWAVE, who debuted in April 2024 with their EP BE;WAVE, is making a global leap with a high-profile appearance at a major festival in Spain.
On July 23, BEWAVE will perform at La Mar de Músicas, an internationally acclaimed cultural festival held annually in Cartagena, Spain, since 1995. The event is known for blending music, film, visual arts, and other creative disciplines into one vibrant celebration of global culture.
This year, South Korea has been invited as the festival’s first-ever East Asian Guest of Honor, with a special program highlighting a wide spectrum of Korean content—from traditional music to contemporary film and visual art. Among ten Korean acts featured—including critically acclaimed performers Leenalchi and Sunwoo Jung-a—BEWAVE will represent the K-pop girl group scene.
Recognized as a promising new force in K-pop, BEWAVE is expected to captivate festivalgoers with their breezy energy and polished performance. With this international stage, the group aims to solidify their place among K-pop’s signature “refreshing” acts—a term used to describe groups known for their upbeat sound, youthful charm, and vibrant stage presence.
As one of the newest entries in K-pop’s evolving landscape, BEWAVE is already drawing attention for their fresh appeal and global potential.
