K-pop Now Rules the U.S., Japan, and China — All at Once

[OSENWORLD] K-pop artists are sweeping the real-time music charts across the United States, Japan, and China, proving once again the genre’s global impact.
According to Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time K-pop music chart platform, on July 25, K-pop acts Huntrix and TWICE topped the U.S., Japan, and China charts in the third week of July (based on data collected from July 14 to 20).
In the United States, Huntrix’s latest single “Golden” took the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive week with a combined index score of 23,766.08. BTS followed in second place with their concert album “Permission to Dance On Stage – Live” (16,378.10), while BLACKPINK’s energetic comeback track “JUMP” ranked third (11,443.33).

In Japan, TWICE claimed the top position with “THIS IS FOR,” the lead single from their sixth world tour, with a combined index score of 17,574.01. BTS once again placed second with “Permission to Dance On Stage – Live” (14,663.14), and NCT DREAM’s “Go Back to the Future” rounded out the top three (12,843.23).
TWICE also dominated the chart in China, with “THIS IS FOR” securing the No. 1 spot with a score of 40,139.86. SEVENTEEN’s celebratory track “HAPPY BURSTDAY” landed second (32,039.15), and Huntrix’s “Golden” held strong at third (31,766.73).
Hanteo’s real-time country-specific charts are published every Friday and are powered by a proprietary big data system that aggregates and analyzes global K-pop data. The rankings reflect a combination of album sales, digital streaming, and online buzz across multiple platforms, providing a comprehensive snapshot of each artist’s performance across key global markets.
