[OSENWORLD] K-pop girl group NMIXX has galloped into the spotlight, earning the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s “25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far)” list with their track “High Horse.”
According to Billboard on July 21 (local time), “High Horse,” a standout B-side from NMIXX’s fourth EP Fe3O4: FORWARD, received critical acclaim for its innovative composition and emotional depth.
Billboard praised the song for “marking a bold step forward in defining the group’s sonic world.” The publication highlighted the track’s minimalist structure, gradual build-up, and dynamic tension-and-release progression, calling it “a captivating listen.” NMIXX’s six members were commended for their delicate vocal delivery, especially during the song’s explosive emotional climax. The lyrics were also noted for conveying a message of warmth and self-assurance in staying true to one’s identity, offering a glimpse into the group’s artistic direction.

“High Horse” showcases MIXX POP, a genre unique to NMIXX that blends multiple musical styles within a single track — a sonic signature that continues to win attention from both domestic and international fans.
The group recently held their first-ever fan meeting, titled NSWER VACATION, on July 12 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, performing for fans in two sessions. During the event, NMIXX announced their first solo concert, scheduled for November 29 and 30, drawing cheers from fans eager for their next chapter.
