[OSENWORLD] IVE (アイヴ: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) continues its global winning streak by once again claiming the top spot on Japan’s Oricon chart (オリコンチャート).
According to the latest data released by Oricon on July 30, IVE’s third Japanese album Be Alright debuted at No. 1 on the Daily Album Ranking on the day of its release. The group had previously topped the same chart last August with their second Japanese album Alive, and this new achievement comes roughly 11 months later—affirming their sustained popularity in the Japanese market.
The album Be Alright includes five tracks: the title song of the same name, “DARE ME” (the OST for NTV’s Sunday drama Dame Mane! – Managing an Unpopular Talent (ダメマネ!~ダメなタレント、マネジメントします~)), and Japanese versions of “Accendio,” “Blue Heart,” and “WOW” from their second full-length Korean album IVE SWITCH.
Notably, the title track “Be Alright,” which dropped early on July 16, delivers a bold message about embracing change and moving forward. The song quickly gained traction, landing on Japan’s LINE MUSIC Top 100 in both real-time and daily charts, as well as Billboard Japan’s Hot 100, Hot Shot Songs, and Download Songs charts—indicating strong reception in Japan.
IVE officially debuted in Japan in October 2022 and has since built a firm presence. In 2023, the group became the first Korean act to headline at K-Arena Yokohama as part of their first world tour SHOW WHAT I HAVE, and also performed at Tokyo Dome—widely considered a “dream stage” for top-tier artists—drawing a total of 95,000 fans across two nights.

Earlier this year, in April, IVE held their fan concert tour IVE SCOUT IN JAPAN, traveling across four cities and connecting with approximately 100,000 fans. Their upcoming appearance at Japan’s leading music festival, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, in September further reflects their solid standing in the country.
With Be Alright, IVE once again showcases their signature confidence and self-empowerment, captivating global fans and securing their presence on multiple charts. All eyes are now on how far the “IVE Syndrome”—which has taken Japan by storm—will go from here.
Meanwhile, IVE is preparing for a domestic comeback set for the end of August.
