[OSENWORLD] HYBE has posted its highest-ever second-quarter revenue, driven by strong global concert turnout and steady album performance across its roster of artists.
In Q2 2025, HYBE reported consolidated revenue of KRW 705.6 billion, a 10.2% increase year-over-year and a 41% rise from the previous quarter. Operating profit reached KRW 65.9 billion, up 29% from last year and 205% from Q1. Operating margin improved to 9.3%.
Artist-led revenue totaled KRW 447.9 billion, with concert revenue reaching KRW 188.7 billion, up 31% year-over-year. Around 1.8 million fans attended world tours and fan events during the quarter, including solo tours by BTS’s Jin and J-Hope, SEVENTEEN’s fan meeting in Japan, and world tours by TOMORROW X TOGETHER and LE SSERAFIM.
Physical album sales reached KRW 228.6 billion, despite a modest 8.4% dip amid a broader K-pop market slowdown. BTS’s Jin reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with Echo, while SEVENTEEN’s Happy Burstday became the top-selling album in Korea for the first half of 2025. ENHYPEN’s Desire: Unleash also debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, with over two million first-week sales. LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, and ILLIT also recorded notable domestic and global chart success, including Oricon and Billboard entries.
Jin and J-Hope both landed on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Don’t Say You Love Me” and “Killin’ It Girl,” respectively. New girl group CAT’S EYE broke through with two tracks from Beautiful Chaos simultaneously charting on the Billboard Hot 100, UK Official Charts, and Spotify’s Global Top Songs.
HYBE’s U.S. affiliate Big Machine Label Group also saw strong results, with Thomas Rhett earning RIAA Diamond certification and Riley Green topping the U.S. country airplay chart.
Indirect revenue, including merchandise, IP, content, and fan club sales, totaled KRW 257.8 billion. Merchandising and licensing rose 40% to KRW 152.9 billion, while fan club revenue increased 46% to an all-time high of KRW 34.6 billion.
Fandom platform Weverse recorded 10.9 million average monthly active users, peaking at 12 million in June following the return of all BTS members to the platform. New artist additions such as Mrs. GREEN APPLE and Shingo Katori also contributed to platform growth. Total payment volume on Weverse increased 41% compared to the previous quarter.
