[OSENWORLD] MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M) are showcasing their multifaceted charm ahead of their September comeback.
On August 12, their agency Starship Entertainment unveiled the “HELLO X” version concept photos for the group’s new mini album THE X, set for release on September 1.
The shoot features all six members dressed in suits of varying colors, celebrating their glamorous 10th anniversary — complete with post-party fun. In an antique-themed venue, the members exude sharp visuals while striking playful poses with an array of props that highlight each member’s wit.

Switching from dapper to playful, the group’s “karaoke after-party” shots deliver an unexpected twist. Captured in a realistic karaoke setting, the photos showcase their natural chemistry, with Hyungwon and Joohoney donning bright pink and blue wigs for extra laughs.
Before the official release, MONSTA X will drop the track “Do What I Want” on August 18 as a pre-release single to heat up anticipation. Co-written by Joohoney and I.M, with Joohoney also participating in composition, the song is described as a hip-hop track blending an addictive hook with groovy bass and rhythmic drums — expected to leave a strong impression on listeners.

The group first surprised fans with news of their comeback during their 10th-anniversary concert “2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X” last month. Since then, they have been rolling out teasers including a “coming soon” video, a trailer, and various concept photos, steadily building excitement. With “Do What I Want” leading the way, MONSTA X is poised to make September a standout month in the K-pop scene.
