Bill Gates to Make Surprise Appearance on Korean Talk Show You Quiz

Known as both a global business magnate and a leading philanthropist, Gates co-founded Microsoft, helping usher in the personal computer era as an architect of the digital revolution. Today, he continues his work through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on global health, education, climate change, and poverty alleviation.

Recently, Gates announced plans to donate 99% of his personal fortune—nearly $200 billion (approx. ₩280 trillion) when combined with the Gates Foundation’s giving—by 2045. The move reinforces his dual legacy as a visionary in technology and a driving force behind social good.

Nam Seung-yong, an executive at CJ ENM who played a pivotal role in securing Gates’ appearance, explained:
