[OSENWORLD] On August 18, Sony Music Korea announced that Lisa donated proceeds from her June flea market event, Welcome to Lisa’s Closet, to Good Neighbors, a global NGO specializing in children’s rights. The charity sale, held in Seoul’s Hannam district, featured items from Lisa’s personal collection including clothing, accessories, and beauty products.
The funds will go toward a clean water and sanitation project in Niger. Good Neighbors will use the donation to install solar-powered systems, water tanks, and public taps, providing safe drinking water to more than 6,800 residents, including children, in the Kolo region.
Lisa reflected on the experience:
“Thanks to everyone who joined me in this act of sharing, we were able to bring hope to someone’s future. It was truly meaningful, and I will continue to practice giving so that children in need can experience positive change.”

This act of generosity adds to Lisa’s growing list of achievements in 2025. She recently unveiled a short film for Dream, a track from her first solo studio album Alter Ego, where she starred alongside Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. In April, she made history as the first K-pop soloist to perform on Coachella’s Sahara Stage. Earlier this year, her single Born Again earned her a third nomination in the Best K-Pop category at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
Currently, Lisa is meeting fans around the globe through BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE world tour — proving that whether on stage, on screen, or through philanthropy, Lisa’s influence knows no bounds.
