[OSENWORLD] BigHit Music’s rookie boy group CORTIS is moving fast to connect with global fans, announcing an English-language version of their debut single just days after their official debut.
The five-member group — Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho — revealed via Weverse on August 19 that they will release “What You Want (feat. Teezo Touchdown)” on August 22 at 1 p.m. KST. The track is the English version of their debut title song “What You Want.”
The collaboration has drawn major attention thanks to American singer-songwriter Teezo Touchdown, who has worked with stars such as Tyler, the Creator, Drake, and Travis Scott. CORTIS and Teezo first connected at a Los Angeles songwriting camp last year, where Teezo was impressed by the group’s creative process and quickly agreed to collaborate. The song they created together in that free-spirited setting became “What You Want,” now reimagined with Teezo’s unique flair.

CORTIS officially debuted on August 18 with the Korean version of the track. Within a day, its conceptual performance film surpassed 1 million YouTube views, while also entering Korea’s trending music video list, Japan’s Line Music chart, and China’s QQ Music chart.
The group will now bring their high-energy stage to Korean television. On August 21, they will make their first music show appearance on Mnet’s M Countdown, performing a bold concept that involves 11 continuously moving treadmills.
