[OSENWORLD] Stray Kids are sweeping global charts with their 4th studio album KARMA and its powerful title track “CEREMONY.”
From its release on August 22, KARMA shot to No. 1 on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Album Charts for three consecutive days (Aug. 22–24), while also topping iTunes Album Charts in Japan, France, Australia, and more. Title track “CEREMONY” secured No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart in Korea and also led the iTunes Song Charts in Brazil and Thailand.
On Spotify, the group achieved a record-breaking milestone. KARMA earned more than 18.26 million streams on its first day — the highest first-day total for any K-pop group album in 2025 — surpassing their own record previously set by ★★★★★ (5-STAR). The title track “CEREMONY” itself logged 2.52 million first-day streams, ranking No. 27 on the Global Top Songs chart and No. 49 in the U.S., both career highs for Stray Kids.
Album sales also confirmed their immense popularity. KARMA sold over 2 million copies on release day, immediately reaching double million-seller status. The album went on to top both the Hanteo Weekly Physical Album Chart (Aug. 18–24) and the Circle Weekly Retail Album Chart (Aug. 17–23).
The music video for “CEREMONY” became a global sensation, hitting No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending chart immediately upon release and holding the position for four consecutive days, surpassing 20 million views in that time. Stray Kids have since delivered electrifying live stages of the track on Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo, with sports-inspired styling and choreography co-created by the members themselves.
With their first full-length release in more than two years, Stray Kids have further solidified their status as leaders of the global K-pop scene. Riding their momentum, the group will release “CEREMONY (Maximum Power Remixes)” today (August 25, 1 p.m. KST / midnight ET).
