[OSENWORLD] BTS member V delivered one of the most talked-about ceremonial first pitches of the year — highlighted by an unforgettable meeting with Major League Baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani (31) of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
On Aug. 25 (local time), V took the mound at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles as the team’s invited guest pitcher. The Dodgers had already teased the appearance on their official social media, sparking massive anticipation from fans around the world.
Before stepping onto the field, V shared a historic moment with Ohtani. MLB’s official social channels released footage of the two sharing a hug and posing side by side — a rare crossover between global pop and sports icons that quickly went viral.
V then greeted Dodgers legend Clayton Kershaw (37) before delivering his ceremonial pitch, capping it off with a wave to cheering fans in the stands.
Meanwhile, BTS is gearing up for a major return. The group has officially announced a spring 2026 comeback and large-scale world tour. Since July, all members have been stationed in the U.S., working on new music and rehearsals while staying connected with fans through the Weverse platform.
