[OSENWORLD] TWICE has scored a new career high on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, further cementing their status as one of the world’s leading girl groups.
On August 26 (local time), Billboard announced that Strategy ranked No. 57 and the sub-unit track Takedown (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG) reached No. 53 on the Hot 100 chart dated August 30. Both songs have now climbed the chart for five consecutive weeks, setting new personal bests for TWICE and reaffirming their global dominance.
The group also hit new milestones across major streaming platforms. On Apple Music’s U.S. Daily Top 100 (August 24), Strategy placed at No. 68 and Takedown at No. 51. On the global chart, the songs rose to No. 42 and No. 35 respectively. On Spotify’s U.S. chart that same day, Strategy landed at No. 29 and Takedown at No. 20. In the U.K., both tracks entered the Official Singles Chart Top 100 (August 22) at No. 35 and No. 31.

At midnight on August 27, TWICE released their sixth Japanese studio album Enemy, their first in over a year since Dive (July 2024). Member Jihyo oversaw the entire creative direction — from visual concepts and track selection to the music video — bringing an added layer of authenticity to the project.
The title track Enemy delivers an empowering message: “Even if you fall many times, you rise again. The ultimate barrier to overcome is yourself.” Alongside the official release, a Director’s Cut of the music video was unveiled, further boosting fan excitement.
TWICE’s global rise was also recognized at the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards), where they won “Most Influential Global Group of the Year.” In their acceptance speech, the members said:
“We are sincerely grateful. Above all, this award belongs to our fans who have supported us unwaveringly. As TWICE approaches its 10th anniversary, this feels like the best gift for all of us who have run together until now.”

From chart-topping singles to international recognition, TWICE continues to expand their global footprint nearly a decade after debut, reaffirming their place as one of the most powerful forces in K-pop today.
