[OSENWORLD] KATSEYE, the global girl group launched by HYBE and Geffen Records, has reached a new career high on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with their breakout single “Gabriela.”
According to Billboard’s latest chart (dated August 30, U.S. time), released August 26, “Gabriela” climbed to No. 72 on the Hot 100 — marking the group’s best placement to date. The track jumped four spots from last week, fueled by buzz from KATSEYE’s recent performances at Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025 in Japan, marking its second consecutive week of upward momentum.
The song first entered the Hot 100 at No. 94 (July 5) before peaking at No. 87 (July 12), then briefly dropped out. It re-entered at No. 76 last week (August 23), signaling a strong rebound that paved the way for its new peak.
“Gabriela” is part of KATSEYE’s second EP Beautiful Chaos, which continues its own strong chart run. The album placed at No. 53 on the Billboard 200 this week, extending its streak to eight consecutive weeks on the chart. It also ranked No. 12 on Top Current Album Sales and No. 15 on Top Album Sales, underscoring steady sales momentum.
On the Billboard Global 200, “Gabriela” landed at No. 24, and No. 21 on the Global 200 (Excl. U.S.), notching its ninth straight week on both charts. Another fan favorite, “Gnarly,” has now remained on the global charts for 16 consecutive weeks, underscoring KATSEYE’s growing international presence.
Adding to their momentum, KATSEYE will launch their first-ever headlining North American tour this November, spanning 16 shows across 13 cities. Originally announced as 13 dates, the tour expanded with additional concerts in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles after tickets sold out almost immediately — only for those added shows to also sell out within hours.
With Billboard breakthroughs, global chart impact, and a sold-out debut tour on the horizon, KATSEYE is rapidly reaffirming their status as one of K-pop’s most formidable next-generation acts.
