[OSENWORLD] NCT WISH is set to showcase a colorful new musical palette with their upcoming third mini-album Color.
The seven-track project, led by the title song Color — which reflects the group’s ambition to “paint the world with their own colors” — will be released on September 1 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
Among the highlights is Cheat Code, an energetic electro-pop track built on a future bass sound. The lyrics compare the thrill of winning someone’s heart to the adventurous quest of a game character. Produced and written by hitmaker KENZIE, the song amplifies Gen Z’s bright and playful sensibility.
Videohood is a hip-hop track that captures the confidence and imagination of leaping between worlds, much like inside a video game. Its sharp progression heightens the song’s energetic and intense appeal.
The R&B track WICHU carries special meaning for fans. Sampling Chris Brown’s 2007 hit With You, the title draws inspiration from both NCT WISH’s official character and the endearing pronunciation of the phrase “With You.” The song delivers a heartfelt message about always being with their fans.
Another track, Cat Reels (Reel-ationship), paints the fluttering start of a relationship sparked by sharing cute cat videos. The soft vocals and sweet R&B melody create a warm, affectionate atmosphere.
With Color, NCT WISH continues to broaden their artistry, blending playful imagination with heartfelt emotion in a body of work that reflects the group’s evolving identity.
