[OSENWORLD] Management SOOP CEO Kim Jang-kyun has delivered a blunt warning amid sudden marriage rumors involving the singer-actress Suzy. On August 28, Kim took to Instagram to state: “If you get caught spreading false rumors, you’ll be in trouble” — an unambiguous dismissal of the speculation.
The rumor originated earlier that day in stock market “tipsheets,” which claimed Suzy was preparing to marry Kim Byung-hoon, the 1988-born CEO of cosmetics leader APR. The claim quickly spread among entertainment insiders and online communities, before OSEN confirmed the rumor was false.
This is not the first time Kim Jang-kyun has stepped forward to shut down baseless rumors. In 2018, when similar rumors linked actors Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-mi, he responded publicly with a pointed remark: “Let’s meet face to face soon.”
Kim Byung-hoon, who was named in the latest rumor, founded skincare brand AprilSkin (now APR) in 2014 while a business student at Yonsei University. Today, APR spans cosmetics, health supplements, and fashion, and as of August 21 its market capitalization was estimated at 8.16 trillion KRW (approx. $6 billion USD), with Kim’s personal stake valued at about 2.5 trillion KRW ($1.8 billion USD).
Meanwhile, Suzy remains focused on her acting career. She will headline the Netflix series Everything Will Come True, premiering October 3, and is also filming the Disney+ drama Hypnosis, slated for release in 2026.
