[OSENWORLD] NCT member Haechan has kicked off promotions for his solo debut with the trailer for his first full-length album TASTE.
At midnight KST on August 29, the trailer titled TASTE OF SUN dropped on NCT’s official YouTube channel, leaving a strong impression with its cinematic storytelling. The clip depicts “human Haechan” confronting a divine version of himself — the “inner god” — and ultimately merging into one. Through this journey, he discovers the message: “The light within me is the force that completes me.” Snippets of tracks from the album are also featured, raising anticipation for the release.
The trailer revolves around the theme of “light,” presenting the “inner god” as a deity of the sun. Shifting between color and monochrome visuals, and incorporating 2D animation effects, the video contrasts the vulnerability of “human Haechan” with the strength of his divine alter ego. Scenes span day, night, and dawn, highlighting the many facets of the artist.
TASTE will feature 11 R&B-driven tracks, with the lead single “CRZY” at its center. The album reflects both Haechan’s personal “taste” in music while inviting fans to experience his artistry as a solo performer for the first time.
Haechan’s first full-length album TASTE will be released simultaneously on digital platforms and in physical format on September 8 at 6 p.m. KST.
