[OSENWORLD] K-pop girl group PURPLE KISS are preparing to make a major push into the global market with their first English-language album OUR NOW, set for release on August 31 at 6 p.m. KST.
The album features a mix of new songs and reimagined versions of their past hits. Leading with double title tracks “DOREMI” and “WANT U BACK,” OUR NOW includes two brand-new tracks — “WANT U BACK” and “Unhappily Ever After” — plus English versions of six fan favorites: “Ponzona,” “Zombie,” “memeM,” “Sweet Juice,” and “7HEAVEN.” In total, eight tracks showcase both the group’s evolution and their international ambitions.
To build anticipation, PURPLE KISS unveiled a cinematic “track story” video on their official YouTube channel on August 29. Presented like a short film, the clip narrates the meaning of each track through evocative imagery, symbolic objects, and fresh reinterpretations of familiar songs — sparking enthusiastic reactions from fans.
OUR NOW extends the themes of their July single album I Miss My…, centering on “happiness” and the emotions exchanged through eye contact in the present moment. It conveys the idea that we can become both the meaning and the source of happiness in each other’s lives.
Coinciding with the album release, PURPLE KISS will embark on their 2025 TOUR: A Violet to Remember, with shows confirmed in Japan and the United States, offering fans around the world a chance to experience their new music live.
