[OSENWORLD] Stray Kids are rewriting records on Spotify with their fourth full-length album KARMA. The group, now the first fourth-generation K-pop act to surpass 20 million followers on the platform, saw the album debut at No. 2 globally, No. 5 in the U.S., and No. 3 in the U.K. on the Top Album Debut chart.
Title track “CEREMONY” also stormed the charts, ranking No. 2 globally, No. 2 in the U.S., and No. 7 in the U.K. A total of eight songs — including “삐처리 (Beep),” “CREED,” “In My Head,” “MESS (엉망),” “Phoenix,” “Ghost,” and “Half Time (반전)” — landed in Spotify’s global Top 10, a rare feat that underscores the group’s expanding influence.
On Spotify, KARMA also set 2025 records for a K-pop group album, scoring the highest first-day and first-week streams. “CEREMONY” broke records as well, logging 2.52 million plays on release day (Aug. 22) and debuting at No. 27 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global. It stayed on the chart for six consecutive days — the longest run this year for any K-pop boy group.
Offline, the group made history with first-week physical sales. Released August 22, KARMA surpassed 2 million copies on day one and topped 3.03 million in its debut week — the only K-pop album in 2025 to cross the 3-million mark in initial sales. The album also swept No. 1 on Hanteo’s weekly physical album chart (Aug. 18–24), Circle Chart’s weekly retail album chart (Aug. 17–23), and Circle’s weekly album chart (Aug. 17–23).
In the U.K., anticipation continues to rise. On August 26 local time, the Official Charts’ “Trending Chart” placed “CEREMONY” at No. 6. The chart’s official website noted that Stray Kids are on track to achieve their best-ever performance on the U.K. album chart, calling it a “historic moment” for the group.
Back in Korea, Stray Kids secured first place on Mnet’s M Countdown (Aug. 28) with “CEREMONY.” To thank fans worldwide, they will drop a remix digital single, CEREMONY (Celebrate Remixes), on August 29 at 1 p.m. KST (midnight ET).
