[OSENWORLD] (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi is gearing up for the release of her first single Motivation, packaged in a 164-page photobook that captures her many charms.
On Sept. 1 at noon KST, Cube Entertainment opened pre-orders for Motivation through CUBEE and other online retailers. The single is scheduled to drop on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms.
The physical edition of Motivation comes as an elaborate photobook set, featuring 164 pages of new images of Yuqi. The package also includes a CD, five random poster options, photo cards, a fabric bookmark, and merchandise designed with her official rabbit character “Kkiki” — making it a collector’s item for fans.
Yuqi’s new single follows her first mini album YUQ1, released in April 2023. That project sold 550,170 copies in its first week, according to Hanteo Chart, ranking No. 3 all-time in first-week sales for a K-pop female soloist.
Her comeback teasers, tagged with the phrase “What’s your Motivation?”, have raised expectations for how Yuqi will expand her musical world with this release.
Yuqi’s Motivation will be available on all major streaming services starting Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. KST.
