[OSENWORLD] BTS member Jung kook has directly addressed a trespassing incident at his home, issuing a stern warning during a live broadcast with fans.
On Sept. 1 at midnight KST, Jung kook went live on fan community platform Weverse to celebrate his birthday. During the stream, he mentioned a large birthday advertisement installed at Yongsan I’Park Mall but explained why he chose to stay home instead of visiting the site. “I thought about doing a live there, but it felt overwhelming. Honestly, I was a bit scared, so I decided to stream from home,” he admitted.
The remarks came just after Seoul’s Yongsan Police confirmed that a woman in her 40s had been arrested around 11:20 p.m. on Aug. 30 for trespassing in Jung kook’s apartment building parking lot. Security staff reported her after spotting her following a vehicle inside. At the time of her arrest, the woman reportedly claimed she had entered because it was a “friend’s house.”

Jung kook referenced the incident directly during his broadcast. “As you may have seen in the news, someone came to my house again. Please, don’t come. Don’t do this. If you step into my parking lot, you won’t be able to get out unless I let you. You’ll just be stuck there. Everything is on CCTV, and I’m watching. If you don’t want to end up at the police station, don’t come in. Got it?” he said firmly.
Recalling the moment of arrest, Jung kook added, “I was watching through the CCTV when the police arrived. I could hear footsteps in the underground parking lot. Suddenly, she rushed over and tried to open the door, but when she did, the police were right there.”
While expressing gratitude for fan support, he also voiced frustration: “She even claimed to be my friend. Sure, ARMY are like family and friends, but this isn’t it. It was upsetting. I’m thankful for the love, but that’s not the way.”
He repeated his warning: “If you come, I’ll lock you in and you’ll be taken away by the police. We’ve secured evidence, everything is recorded. If you want to be taken away, go ahead.”
This is not the first such incident. In June, a Chinese woman was caught attempting to trespass at Jung kook's residence and was arrested on the spot. She was later indicted without detention in late August. With incidents continuing, Jung kook's warning has sparked strong reactions from fans, who voiced anger at stalkers and pleaded for people to respect his safety and privacy.
