[OSENWORLD] Rising girl group YOUNG POSSE (Sun-hye, Yeon-jung, Jiana, Do-eun, Ji-eun) has captivated international fans with a fresh “hip-crush” concept.
At midnight KST on September 2, the group dropped the music video for “YSSR”, a track from their fourth EP Growing Pain pt.1 : FREE, on their official YouTube channel. The release sparked an immediate reaction, surpassing 10 million views in just three days — further proof of the group’s rising momentum.
The video blends 3D rendering with the nostalgic flair of ’90s animation, creating a surreal retro-futurism concept. Rapid transitions evoking teleportation and stylish graphic effects add an extra layer of visual intrigue.
For the performance, the members showcased a daring transformation with cyberpunk-inspired techwear, smoky makeup, and fierce charisma. Their explosive rap scenes, set against the backdrop of muscle cars, amplified the bold energy of their performance and reinforced their image as a fearless hip-hop force.
Lyrically, “YSSR” carries a message of confidence — to stay unshaken and reveal their true colors despite the sharp questions of the world. Its drum-and-bass-driven rage beats and uncompromising lyrics embody YOUNG POSSE’s signature self-assured attitude.

Released on August 14, the group’s fourth EP has already earned strong reviews for its playful take on the theme of “growing pains.” Title track “FREESTYLE” debuted at No. 7 on YouTube Music’s Daily Top Songs chart, with its accompanying video quickly gaining views and expanding the group’s global reach.
