[OSENWORLD] TWICE’s Chaeyoung is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, unveiling the full scope of her artistry with her first studio album.
On September 12 at 1 p.m. KST, Chaeyoung will release her debut solo album LIL FANTASY vol.1 along with the title track “SHOOT (Firecracker)”. She is the fourth TWICE member to launch a solo career, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu.
The album includes 10 tracks, among them the title song “SHOOT (Firecracker)”, “AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico)”, “BAND-AID”, “GIRL”, “RIBBONS (feat. SUMIN, Jibin of Y2K92)”, “DOWNPOUR (with Kai)”, “BF”, “Shadow Play”, “My Guitar”, and the CD-only bonus track “Lonely Doll Waltz”.

Chaeyoung is credited on every track, having taken part in writing, composing, and arranging. She worked alongside a diverse lineup of collaborators including Japanese band Gliiico, rapper sokodomo, singer-songwriter SUMIN, producers PEEJAY and Slom, and Jibin of Y2K92. The album’s title LIL FANTASY was inspired by the idea of “a small world existing inside Chaeyoung.”
In the lead-up to her solo debut, Chaeyoung has steadily built anticipation with a series of teasers. On September 1, she pre-released the music video for “AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico)”. The following day at midnight, she unveiled the tracklist, with her name appearing across all the credits.
Fans will also get a special preview: on September 11, the day before release, a pre-listening event will be held at Hannam House in Seoul’s Yongsan district, with Chaeyoung making a personal appearance at the final session to greet fans.
