[OSENWORLD] ZEROBASEONE (Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun-wook, Han Yu-jin) have made history once again with their first full-length album.
Released on September 1, the group’s debut studio album Never Say Never sold more than 1.1 million copies on its first day, instantly earning “million-seller” status. With this, ZEROBASEONE has become the first K-pop act to achieve six consecutive million-selling albums starting from their debut.
The response to the title track ICONIK has been met with an explosive response. Its music video surpassed 6 million views within 24 hours, ranking No. 2 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending Music Videos chart, and placing in the top 10 across major regions — No. 4 in the U.K. and Germany, No. 7 in France and Japan, and No. 8 in Korea.
ZEROBASEONE also continues to break sales records. According to Hanteo Chart, they have sold over 9 million cumulative albums, becoming the first fifth-generation K-pop group — and the fastest in the past two years — to reach that milestone.
Overseas, Never Say Never made waves on iTunes, peaking at No. 5 on the Worldwide Albums Chart, No. 5 on the U.S. Top K-pop Albums Chart, and No. 7 on the European Albums Chart. It also topped iTunes “Top Albums” rankings in countries including the Czech Republic, Qatar, Russia, and Vietnam.
In Korea, all tracks from the new album entered Melon’s HOT100 chart, with six songs landing in the TOP100. Meanwhile, their previous title track BLUE from Blue Paradise re-entered the chart at No. 96, drawing fresh attention.
ZEROBASEONE will kick off their comeback with the first stage performance of ICONIK on Mnet’s M Countdown on September 4.
