[OSENWORLD] ZEROBASEONE is set to make history in K-pop today as the group unveils the first live performance of their title track ICONIK on Mnet’s M Countdown at 6 PM KST (Sept. 4), marking the beginning of their first full-length album era with NEVER SAY NEVER.
The record is already rewriting milestones. Released on September 1, NEVER SAY NEVER sold more than 1.1 million copies on its first day, instantly cementing ZEROBASEONE’s status with six consecutive million-selling albums — an unprecedented feat in K-pop.
The momentum extends worldwide. The album topped iTunes Top Albums charts in countries including Qatar, Russia, and Czechia, while also taking No. 1 on Japan’s LINE MUSIC Album Top 100. Title track ICONIK reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs in Bahrain, Vietnam, Chile, Indonesia, and Argentina, and its music video surpassed 16 million views within 48 hours, landing on trending charts.
With this release, ZEROBASEONE also became the fastest K-pop group to surpass 9 million cumulative album sales within two years of debut, a milestone achieved with the overwhelming support of their fanbase, known as ZEROSE.
As their first full album, NEVER SAY NEVER encapsulates the group’s narrative journey — from the Youth Trilogy to the Paradise Duology — distilling two years of growth into the most iconic expression of TEAM ZB1 to date. The project carries a powerful message of resilience: that “nothing is impossible if you never give up.”
Fueled by relentless ambition and global fan support, ZEROBASEONE is on an unstoppable upward trajectory — solidifying their place as top-tier global artists with music that continues to push boundaries.
