[OSENWORLD] Singer-songwriter JUNNY has returned after three years with his second full-length album null, calling it his most personal project yet.
“null is not only about my growth as a musician, but also about showing who I am as a person,” JUNNY told OSENWORLD. “From the excitement before love begins, to the joy, conflicts, and aftermath of relationships, I wanted to capture the most genuine side of one human being.” He noted that his own experiences naturally shaped the songs.
Released on Aug. 20, null features 12 self-written tracks, including double title songs Energy and SOUR. Since release, the album has sparked a sharp rise in JUNNY’s Spotify listeners. It also landed Top 10 on Apple Music’s K-Pop charts across six regions including the U.S., France, and Australia, while topping iTunes K-Pop in Austria and reaching No. 2 in Thailand.

“Listen With Ease”
When asked how fans should approach the album, JUNNY’s advice was simple: “Just as a day can feel long, this album should be enjoyed at an easy pace. Depending on the moment, there’s a track that will fit your mood. If you put it on repeat, you’ll discover more each time.”
On Collaborations
He has even been dubbed an “artist’s artist” by peers, thanks to high-profile collaborations such as Lonely Lover with Pink Sweat$, limbo with Colde, and Next To Me with Suran. JUNNY responded modestly: “That phrase still feels too big for me. But I love working with people who share the same passion for music. The synergy when writing or jamming together gives me the greatest joy.”
Looking Ahead
Named a Spotify RADAR KOREA artist earlier this year, JUNNY sees the recognition as a turning point. “It’s a huge honor and feels like a dream,” he said. He added that one of his biggest goals is to hold his first solo concert in Korea.
Following his appearance at Waterbomb Singapore 2025, JUNNY will kick off a six-city European tour at the end of September, with more global stages to follow. “The most meaningful goal is still preparing for that first solo concert in Korea,” he emphasized.
With null, JUNNY proves once again why he is one of K-R&B’s most respected singer-songwriters — and why his artistry continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
