[OSENWORLD] The singer was set to perform on September 6 (local time) as part of his ACT: NEW EPISODE U.S. tour, following his solo concert at Seoul’s Olympic Hall in August and earlier stops in Washington, D.C., and New York. But on the day of the show, the concert was called off at the last minute due to local system failures and unforeseen operational issues.
Kang Daniel, who had already arrived at the venue, personally went on stage to apologize directly to fans who had been waiting.
His agency Aera later issued an official statement:
“To the fans who eagerly awaited this show, we sincerely apologize for delivering such sudden news. Despite our best efforts, the Kang Daniel concert in Jersey City, NJ scheduled for September 6 could not be held due to unprepared local systems and unexpected operational issues. After last-minute discussions, we determined that moving forward under such incomplete conditions would only be a greater disservice to our fans, and thus we had no choice but to cancel.”
The agency confirmed that all tickets purchased through official platforms will be automatically refunded, with refund details sent directly via email.
Though the cancellation left fans disappointed, Kang Daniel will continue his tour, with upcoming shows in South America, including Argentina and Brazil.
