[OSENWORLD] BigHit Music’s rookie group CORTIS has unleashed a powerful statement with their follow-up track “FaSHioN,” blending trap and Southern hip hop with visuals reminiscent of a blockbuster action film.
On September 8 at 6 p.m. KST, the five-member group released their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES alongside the music video for “FaSHioN.” Just weeks after promoting their debut single “What You Want,” CORTIS are already back with a fiercer concept and set to promote their B-side on music shows.
The “FaSHioN” video, uploaded to HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel, was filmed across New Zealand’s striking landscapes — from snowy peaks and glacial lakes to abandoned junkyards. The imagery culminates in a jaw-dropping group performance in front of the Tasman Glacier. Exploding cars, high-level special effects, and rapid-fire editing heighten the spectacle, creating a powerful visual impact.
The concept grew out of a self-made video the members created during their trainee days, later expanded into a big-budget production by director Bang Jae-yeob, known for his work with hip-hop artists and fashion campaigns. The result is a cinematic piece that magnifies the group’s fresh energy.
A conceptual performance film focusing on choreography will follow on September 9. Once again, CORTIS members took part in crafting the dance, underscoring their identity as a “young creator crew.” Martin, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho are credited on the track, with all five members contributing to the choreography.

“FaSHioN” itself channels the group’s bold lifestyle, with lyrics like “Gather at Dongmyo, like a seminar / Gather in Hongdae, we set it off,” declaring their intent to forge their own path in both music and fashion.
Later that evening, CORTIS premiered the track live at their 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium, with the event livestreamed globally via Weverse.
