[OSENWORLD] Baby DONT Cry, the rookie girl group produced by K-pop superstar Psy, is already making waves in Japan. Just three months after their debut, they’ve landed their first major fashion magazine cover—proof of their fast-rising global profile.
NYLON JAPAN unveiled the double cover of its November issue on September 5, featuring Baby DONT Cry. The spread marks the group’s first appearance in a Japanese fashion magazine, pairing nostalgic, mood-driven visuals with individual interviews that highlight each member’s personality.
In the photos, Baby DONT Cry showcase playful fall styling that blends balletcore and preppy looks—complete with standout pieces like lace-up ballet sneakers designed by Jiu. The members’ photogenic confidence and free-spirited energy commanded attention with ease.
By gracing the cover of a top Japanese magazine only three months into their career, Baby DONT Cry have demonstrated their growing influence in the market. They are also taking on major K-pop stages abroad, expanding their international fanbase. With their bold yet charming image, the group is living up to its reputation as a “super rookie.”
Beyond Japan, the new visuals will also appear in Jiu brand stores across China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The full pictorial and interviews will be available in the November issue of NYLON JAPAN, set for release on September 27.
