[OSENWORLD] IBUKI, leader of Osaka Ojogang — the winning crew of Street Woman Fighter 3 — has publicly accused the concert organizers of mishandling the circumstances surrounding her exclusion from the tour.
On September 8, IBUKI posted a lengthy statement on her personal social media: “I’m sorry I could not join the Seoul concert, which I had been eager to attend. After our win, I promised to meet fans, and I deeply apologize for not keeping that promise.”
The “World of Street Woman Fighter” tour, titled THE REAL STAGE, kicked off in Seoul on September 6–7 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. While Osaka Ojogang performed, their leader’s absence drew attention. On stage, members apologized directly to fans, some breaking into tears.
Producers later announced that IBUKI would also miss the upcoming Busan stop on September 13 due to “health reasons.” However, IBUKI refuted this, claiming organizers had disclosed her absence without formal discussion. “As an artist, I wasn’t even given the right to speak for myself, yet I was pressured to sign a contract. I had been consulting with a Korean lawyer at the time,” she wrote, expressing her frustration.
She added: “I did not reveal the truth about Seoul because I didn’t want to hurt the members or fans. I apologize for the burden placed on my crew. I hope the organizers will cooperate so I can safely return to the stage.”
Following her post, fellow contestant MOTIVE (Mali) voiced public support, while some fans directed criticism at the production company. Meanwhile, other members of Osaka Ojogang have remained silent, offering only words of gratitude to fans.
Reports have also surfaced alleging that IBUKI and her manager requested a side contract that was not shared with other members, fueling speculation that contractual disputes may be at the heart of the fallout. A concert representative told OSEN, “We are currently reviewing our official position.”
