[OSENWORLD] K-pop boy group RIIZE marked their second debut anniversary with a generous donation of ₩100 million (about $73,000).
On September 9, the Community Chest of Korea (also known as Fruit of Love), a nationwide social welfare fundraising organization, announced that RIIZE, together with their official fan club Briize, donated a total of ₩104,046,577 in celebration of the milestone.
RIIZE donated the symbolic ₩100 million in their fan club’s name as a gesture of gratitude to their supporters. Briize members also joined in by contributing an additional ₩4,046,577 through a special online QR code fundraising campaign, bringing the total donation to over ₩104 million.
The four-day campaign, held from September 4–7 via Fruit of Love’s official website, allowed anyone to participate simply by scanning a limited-time QR code — drawing significant interest and participation.
According to Fruit of Love, the funds will be used to cover medical expenses for children from low-income families. Beneficiaries include pediatric patients in need of treatment for childhood cancer, rare diseases, or cochlear implant surgeries, helping to reduce financial burdens and support healthier futures.
Since their debut in 2023, RIIZE has consistently practiced acts of giving to support underprivileged youth. This joint effort with Briize once again demonstrated the group’s commitment to spreading positive influence beyond music.
Lee Sung-do, head of fundraising at Fruit of Love, commented: “This campaign is a great example of how artists and fans can create a culture of giving together. Fruit of Love will continue to expand donation programs to encourage broader participation.”
