[OSENWORLD] ZEROBASEONE kicked off their comeback with impact, taking home their first music show trophy for “ICONIK.”
On September 9, the group won The Show Choice on SBS funE’s The Show with the title track from their first full-length album NEVER SAY NEVER. In their acceptance speech, the group thanked fans: “First of all, thank you to ZEROSE (our fandom). This is our first win since starting promotions for our first full album, and it’s all thanks to you. We’re so grateful for your constant love and will continue to work hard as ZEROBASEONE.”
The nine members transformed into “racers in infinite space,” delivering powerful choreography and soaring vocals. Built on a nu-disco sound with sleek grooves and tight rhythms, “ICONIK” highlights the group’s musical chemistry while declaring their ambition to “defy gravity and reach the moon.”
The win adds to a list of historic achievements. In just its first week, NEVER SAY NEVER sold over 1.51 million copies, marking ZEROBASEONE’s sixth consecutive million-seller. According to Hanteo Chart, the group has now surpassed 9 million cumulative album sales — making them the first K-pop group of the fifth generation to hit the milestone, and the fastest act overall to do so in just two years.
The momentum continues globally. “ICONIK” has already surpassed 50 million views on YouTube, while the album is topping domestic and international charts, solidifying ZEROBASEONE’s status as a “global top-tier” group.
From debut to today, ZEROBASEONE have consistently rewritten their growth story — and the trajectory points to even greater heights ahead.
