[OSENWORLD] HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE are making a surprise comeback on the U.S. charts, with their sophomore EP Beautiful Chaos surging once again thanks to breakout tracks “Gabriela” and “Gnarly.”
According to Billboard’s latest update dated Sept. 13, Beautiful Chaos jumped 17 spots to No. 28 on the Billboard 200. First released on June 27, the EP initially debuted at No. 4 (July 12 chart), marking a career high for the group. Remarkably, it has now logged 10 consecutive weeks on the chart, proving steady demand two months after release.
The rebound coincides with KATSEYE’s high-profile sets at Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025. After briefly cooling in the 60s, the album shot back up to No. 53 (Aug. 30), No. 45 (Sept. 6), and this week leapt to No. 28.

On the Billboard Hot 100, KATSEYE are also sustaining momentum. “Gabriela” ranked No. 64, while “Gnarly” entered at No. 100, underscoring the group’s growing influence as their streaming and sales surge again.
Beyond the charts, KATSEYE have dominated headlines with a viral GAP campaign (“Better in Denim”) and a win for PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
Formed through HYBE and Geffen’s global audition project The Debut: Dream Academy, which drew 120,000 applicants, KATSEYE embody HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s vision for the globalization of K-pop methodology. Debuting in the U.S. in June 2023, they are now preparing for their first North American headline tour starting this November — poised to push their global rise even further.
