[OSENWORLD] Rookie boy group AM8IC have yet to make their official debut, but their pre-release performance is already drawing attention for its precision and intensity.
On September 11, the five-member group dropped a performance video for Escher, a track from their upcoming first EP LUKOIE, via their official social media channels. The clip showcases AM8IC’s commanding choreography — sharp, tightly synchronized, and executing seamless transitions through intricate stage formations. The group’s teamwork and cohesion make the performance feel more reminiscent of veterans than newcomers.
Dynamic gestures, piercing expressions, and dynamic camera work further amplify the energy, while the heavy bass-driven EDM hip-hop sound underscores their commanding presence. The result is a display of stage power that feels far beyond rookie level, positioning AM8IC early on as a performance-driven group to watch.

AM8IC consists of SAHO, MINGKAI, CHUNGYI, ROUX, and CHEN. Their name merges “AMBI-,” meaning both directions, with “CONNECT,” symbolizing lost boys who discover growth and salvation through authentic connections.
The group’s debut EP LUKOIE expands on this lore. Centered around a spider-like dream deity who weaves an illusory world, the narrative unfolds in three chapters: “Connection Beyond Fate,” “Growth That Shatters Lies,” and “Salvation Bound by Hope.” With its dark fantasy concept, the group is already being dubbed “5th-generation dark fantasy idols.”
With their debut set for November, AM8IC are gearing up with a cinematic concept and a pre-debut performance that has already surpassed rookie expectations.
