Hello, this is Galaxy Corporation.
First of all, we would like to sincerely thank you for the interest and love you have shown to our artist G-DRAGON (Kwon Ji-yong) and Galaxy Corporation.
We would like to provide an update on our ongoing legal response to the infringement of rights caused by baseless rumors and malicious posts directed at G-DRAGON.
Through continuous monitoring as well as reports from fans, we have confirmed the posting and circulation of false information, malicious slander, and defamatory content targeting the artist. We have been cooperating with investigative authorities on an ongoing basis to respond accordingly.
Currently, we have appointed Yulchon LLC, one of Korea’s top four law firms, to handle these cases. We are carefully monitoring online communities and social media platforms to collect relevant evidence, and fan reports are also being actively utilized as important grounds for legal action.
We are taking every possible civil and criminal measure against all unlawful acts, including those using the artist’s real name, initials, or nicknames, or any other wording that can clearly identify the artist. There will be no leniency or settlement under any circumstances.
Creating or spreading unverified rumors, or posting malicious texts or videos, is clearly an illegal act. We strongly warn against the indiscriminate writing or distribution of malicious content about the artist, as such behavior may result in legal penalties under the Information and Communications Network Act and the Criminal Act.
We will continue to do our utmost to protect the rights and interests of our artist through thorough monitoring and consistent legal action. We sincerely thank fans once again for their unwavering love and support.
