[OSENWORLD] SEVENTEEN’s Woozi has officially begun his active-duty service, bidding farewell to fans as he steps away from the stage.
On September 15, Woozi enlisted in the South Korean army. His agency, Pledis Entertainment, emphasized that the training camp entrance ceremony is a private event:
“As the ceremony is meant for soldiers and their families, we kindly ask fans not to attend. Instead, please leave your farewell messages and encouragement for Woozi and Hoshi on Weverse.”

Woozi is the third member of SEVENTEEN to fulfill military duty. Jeonghan began his service in September last year and is currently serving as a public service worker due to health reasons. Wonwoo enlisted in April and is also serving in public service after completing basic training.
Leader S.Coups, who underwent surgeries for torn ligaments in 2023, was deemed exempt after being classified as Grade 5 due to his condition. Another ’95 liner, Joshua, holds U.S. citizenship and is not subject to Korean military duty.
Just a day before enlistment, Woozi made an emotional appearance at SEVENTEEN’s WORLD TOUR [NEW_] concert at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. He appeared in the stands with a freshly shaved head, surprising Carats (SEVENTEEN’s fandom) and leaving fans emotional as he prepared for his military hiatus.
Meanwhile, fellow member Hoshi is scheduled to enlist on September 16, marking back-to-back enlistments for the group.
