[OSENWORLD] ZEROBASEONE have wrapped up their NEVER SAY NEVER promotions with a historic feat, cementing their status as true K-pop icons.
On September 14, the nine-member group gave their final stage on SBS’s Inkigayo, marking the close of their first full-length album era.
Their title track “ICONIK” became the driving force of the comeback’s success, sweeping first place trophies for six straight days across all major music programs: The Show, Show Champion, M Countdown, Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo. The grand slam marked their first-ever sweep of six trophies with a single song since debut.
The record-setting streak was accompanied by massive album sales. NEVER SAY NEVER sold over 1.51 million copies in its first week, making ZEROBASEONE the first K-pop group to record six consecutive million-sellers starting from their debut.
Their impact spread far beyond Korea. In Japan, the album ranked No. 2 on both Oricon’s Weekly Album and Combined Album Charts, and topped Line Music’s Daily Album Top 100 for a full week. In China, it earned a Gold Badge certification on QQ Music and took No. 1 on the daily digital sales chart.
Global markets beyond Asia also responded strongly: NEVER SAY NEVER peaked at No. 4 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Top K-pop Albums Chart, and No. 7 on the European iTunes Album Chart. It also hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums in Sweden, Czechia, Qatar, Russia, and Vietnam, while entering Apple Music’s Worldwide Album Chart at No. 34.
Digital performance matched the physical success. Every track from the album entered Korea’s Melon HOT100, with six songs making it into the Top 100. Lead single “ICONIK” also charted on Japan’s Line Music Real-Time Top 100 and China’s QQ Music Top Trend Songs. Meanwhile, the “ICONIK” music video has surpassed 51 million views, reflecting the group’s global pull.
With this comeback, ZEROBASEONE have not only showcased record-breaking growth but also delivered a powerful message of perseverance through NEVER SAY NEVER. Their grand slam of six trophies in six days is a milestone that highlights their unstoppable rise.
