[OSENWORLD] IVE are adding another milestone to their global festival run with a slot at Rock in Japan Festival 2025 (RIJF).
Starship Entertainment confirmed that the group departed for Japan on September 14 to join the festival, held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba. Now in its 26th year, RIJF is recognized as one of Japan’s premier music festivals, alongside Summer Sonic and Fuji Rock. Running from September 13–15 and 20–21, IVE will appear on the third day, performing on the LOTUS STAGE.
The booking continues IVE’s growing reputation as a festival powerhouse. In 2024, they made waves at Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic Japan with pitch-perfect live vocals and dynamic performances, earning international media praise as a rising K-pop festival powerhouse. This past July, they returned to Europe for Lollapalooza Berlin and Lollapalooza Paris, where their charisma and polished stage manners captivated massive crowds.
Japan has also been central to IVE’s expansion. Since their official debut with ELEVEN -Japanese ver.- in 2022, the group has built a strong local fanbase. Their IVE SCOUT IN JAPAN fan-concert tour earlier this year drew 100,000 fans, while their third Japanese album Be Alright topped Oricon, Billboard Japan, and Tower Records charts. Last month, their fourth Korean mini-album IVE SECRET and its title track “XOXZ” also scored strong results on both domestic and international charts.
With Rock in Japan now added to their résumé, IVE are proving themselves unstoppable — solidifying their place as one of K-pop’s leading festival acts worldwide.
