[OSENWORLD] Stray Kids are celebrating their latest Billboard milestone with something rare — pure gold.
The group recently secured their seventh consecutive No.1 on the Billboard 200 with their fourth full-length album KARMA. Since the chart launched in 1956, no artist had ever sent seven consecutive albums to No.1 — until Stray Kids.
To mark the historic feat, J.Y. Park, founder and chief producer of JYP Entertainment, presented each of the eight members with a framed plaque containing 75 grams of pure gold (about 20 don). In total, that’s 160 don of gold, valued at approximately ₩102.8 million (about $76,000) as of Sept. 17.

The group shared photos on Sept. 15 through their official social media accounts, writing: “Thank you, PD-nimmmmm,” as they posed proudly with the lavish gifts. Fans were quick to note that Stray Kids’ Billboard streak was commemorated in literal gold.
Beyond his role at JYP, Park was recently appointed co-chair of Korea’s newly established Cultural Exchange Committee, a body designed to strengthen global collaboration in music, TV, film, and gaming. On Sept. 9, he reaffirmed his mission via social media: “My dream is the same as always: for K-pop to be loved all over the world. I will do my best so that younger artists can receive greater opportunities. I hope K-pop can take another leap forward, not just spreading our culture but creating a platform where people around the world can understand and connect with one another.”
