[OSENWORLD] ARTMS member HaSeul returns with her new solo single Love Poison, released Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. KST on global streaming platforms via Modhaus.
Built on warm vinyl textures, hazy reverb, and minimal percussion, the city pop track creates a dreamy, atmospheric soundscape. HaSeul’s voice, noted for its understated and approachable charm, takes center stage. The song portrays love as sweet but slow-acting poison, blending intoxication with danger — a duality reflected in its sound design.
Her subtle yet emotive vocal delivery lends Love Poison a haunting intimacy, pushing her artistry into new territory. For fans, the track serves as another gift, following earlier solo releases like Plastic Candy and Fragile Eyes that spotlighted her unique presence beyond group activities.
The release arrives amid strong momentum for ARTMS. Their latest mini-album Club Icarus broke first-week sales records, while the nearly 14-minute music video for its title track drew attention for its cinematic storytelling. The group also hosted Club Icarus parties in Seoul, New York, and Los Angeles, collaborating with DJs to craft immersive performances that blur the line between concert and narrative experience.
With Love Poison, HaSeul continues to demonstrate the distinct power of her voice and her growing artistry as a soloist.
