[OSENWORLD] NCT’s Haechan has established himself as a solo force after years as the group’s standout vocalist. His first full-length solo album TASTE, released on Sept. 8, has swept charts in Korea and abroad, underscoring his versatility as both a singer and performer.
On Sept. 18, the Circle Weekly Chart placed TASTE at No.1 on both the overall and retail album charts. Its title track CRZY also claimed the top spot on the download and BGM charts, marking No.1 across four categories — covering both albums and digital singles.
The global response has been just as strong. The album topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 21 regions and entered the Top 10 in 34 regions worldwide, adding to its domestic success.
TASTE includes 11 tracks, led by the magnetic CRZY, which pairs a striking melody with bold lyrics about passion and obsession. The record leans heavily into R&B, offering a spectrum of moods that highlight Haechan’s signature vocals.
Haechan is also bringing CRZY to the stage, performing on Korea’s major music shows this week: Mnet’s M Countdown (Sept. 18), KBS2’s Music Bank (Sept. 19), MBC’s Show! Music Core (Sept. 20), and SBS’s Inkigayo (Sept. 21).
