[OSENWORLD] 1 Million Daily Streams, Apple Music No. 1 — CORTIS Are Rising Fast.
BigHit Music’s rookie boy group CORTIS are on a meteoric rise, as their debut album’s intro track “GO!” reached No. 1 on Korea’s Apple Music “Top 100: Today” chart (Sept. 21).
The track first entered at No. 81 on Sept. 8 and steadily climbed to the top in just 13 days. Alongside “GO!” at No. 1, follow-up song “FaSHioN” placed at No. 5 and title track “What You Want” at No. 7, giving the group three songs in the Top 10. Album track “JoyRide” also landed at No. 28, showing the strong reception across the album.
On Melon, “GO!” became the only track by a 2025-debut boy group to make the daily chart this year, entering at No. 95 on Sept. 21. By Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. KST, it had climbed to No. 78 on the real-time “Top 100,” marking a new personal best.
Global listeners are driving the surge as well. On Spotify, “GO!” maintained over 1 million daily streams for an entire week (Sept. 15–21), breaking the usual trend of post-release declines.
The song’s rise has been fueled by performance exposure. During promotions for “What You Want,” CORTIS performed “GO!” for one week on music shows, sparking viral dance challenges across social media. This renewed attention pushed the track back into the spotlight, leading to a special stage on SBS’s Inkigayo (Sept. 21) and a “Relay Dance” video on M2’s YouTube channel (Sept. 22).
BigHit Music said in a statement: “We are grateful for the love from fans worldwide. As a thank-you, CORTIS will bring ‘GO!’ back to select music shows this week as a special gift.”
CORTIS, the first new boy group launched by BigHit Music in six years, have already set records. Their debut album Color Outside the Lines sold 436,367 copies in its first week (Hanteo Chart), the highest among 2025 rookies and the fourth biggest debut album in K-pop history.
