[OSENWORLD] BOYNEXTDOOR (Sung-ho, Liu, Myung Jae-hyun, Tae-san, Lee Han, and Woon-hak) are set to make their comeback on Oct. 20 with their fifth mini album The Action, with high anticipation for a third consecutive million-seller.
The group announced the release through a teaser video posted on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel on Sept. 22. In the clip, the six members play the roles of a film crew called “TEAM THE ACTION.” After throwing darts to choose a filming location, they land on Chicago, where news of a film festival sparks their ambition to become directors. The teaser closes with the words “Take no.6 Ready Camera Action!” alongside the album title and release date.
Sharp-eyed fans noticed that the hoodies emblazoned with “TEAM THE ACTION” are the same ones the members wore in August when they flew to Lollapalooza Chicago. This detail cleverly ties their real-world activities to the fictional film crew concept, while also connecting directly to the album’s title.
The Action follows May’s No Genre, which marked BOYNEXTDOOR’s second consecutive million-seller and secured their fourth straight entry on the Billboard 200. Since then, the group has wrapped their first headlining tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’, and earned praise for their set at Lollapalooza Chicago.
With momentum from consecutive hits and a growing global presence, fans are watching closely to see if BOYNEXTDOOR can secure a third million-seller with The Action.
