[OSENWORLD] ATEEZ once again proved their “world-class” status, setting new records in Japan.
According to Oricon’s Sept. 22 announcement, the group’s second Japanese studio album Ashes to Light recorded approximately 115,000 first-week sales, topping the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking dated Sept. 29 (covering Sept. 15–21). This marks ATEEZ’s highest-ever first-week sales in Japan and their fourth overall No. 1 on the weekly chart.
The momentum began on Sept. 17, when Ashes to Light debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking. It has remained near the top ever since. Beyond Japan, the album reached No. 5 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, entered Spotify’s Daily Top Artist Chart, and secured high rankings across multiple global platforms.

Title track Ash extended the impact further, breaking into iTunes Top Songs in 11 countries and LINE MUSIC’s Album Top 100. Its music video also ranked in LINE MUSIC’s Video Top 100, while hitting No. 1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Music Video Trending and Video Trending Worldwide lists.
With a theme of “new hope rising from hardship,” Ashes to Light blends textured, dynamic beats with powerful vocals and sharp rap, showcasing ATEEZ’s continued artistic growth.
Following the success of their 2025 IN YOUR FANTASY world tour stops in Saitama (Sept. 13–15) and Nagoya (Sept. 20–21), ATEEZ will next perform in Kobe on Oct. 22–23, further expanding their presence across Japan.
