[OSENWORLD] The comeback was announced by the group’s agency on Sept. 24, alongside a teaser poster shared via their official social media channels. The image features a towering tree, floating orbs, and the silhouette of a reclining figure, all rendered in monochrome against a stark backdrop. The mysterious yet refined mood has sparked curiosity about the story TEMPEST will tell through their new music.
As I Am follows the group’s March release of RE: Full of Youth, which explored themes of freedom, love, and youthful conviction. With their compelling performances and energetic sound, TEMPEST solidified their presence in the K-pop scene and raised expectations for what comes next.
Since wrapping promotions for RE: Full of Youth, TEMPEST have remained active globally. They successfully staged the 2025 TEMPEST SHOW-CON in Macau and more recently released the digital single My Way, chosen as the opening theme for the Japanese TV anime Shūnan Jinsei Fighter (lit. Ugly Man True Fighter). To celebrate, the group held release showcases in Osaka and Tokyo, strengthening ties with local fans.
TEMPEST’s seventh mini album As I Am will be released across major online music platforms on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. KST.
