[OSENWORLD] SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups and Mingyu are commanding attention in the fashion world, fronting the cover of Hypebeast’s 20th anniversary issue.
Revealed Sept. 23, the shoot showcased the duo’s bold, contrasting charms. S.Coups radiated laid-back charisma in casual, hip styling, while Mingyu turned heads in a striking floral-patterned jacket — a pairing that underscores their growing status as fashion icons.
For its milestone issue, Hypebeast celebrated cultural figures who have shaped fashion, art, and music over the past two decades while spotlighting the next generation of global tastemakers. By selecting S.Coups x Mingyu as cover stars, the magazine underscored their influence far beyond K-pop.
Both members are steadily making their mark in fashion. S.Coups previously appeared on the inaugural cover of GQ Hong Kong alongside Orlando Bloom and Japanese actor Yamashita Tomohisa, while Mingyu has been featured on numerous Asian and Western magazine covers, cementing his growing reputation in international fashion.
Beyond fashion, excitement is building for their upcoming debut mini-album Hype Vibes, out Sept. 29. The surprise challenge video for title track 5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (feat. Lay Bankz) amassed 100 million views in just four days, with both members credited on songwriting and composition throughout the album.
Ahead of the release, the duo are rolling out a steady stream of content to engage fans. They appeared together on Salon Drip 2 on Sept. 23, followed by S.Coups’ solo guest spot on Cellphone KODE on Sept. 24. Two official music video teasers are slated to drop Sept. 25–26.
