[OSENWORLD] TWICE’s Chaeyoung has officially stepped into the spotlight as a soloist, debuting on the U.S. Billboard 200 with her first full-length album.
Billboard confirmed on Sept. 23 (local time) that Chaeyoung’s LIL FANTASY vol.1, released Sept. 12, debuted at No. 38 on the Sept. 27-dated Billboard 200. The album also placed her at No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart, with additional entries on Artist 100, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Albums, and Vinyl Albums — underscoring her growing global influence.
LIL FANTASY vol.1 showcases Chaeyoung’s personal artistic vision. She contributed to all 10 tracks, with title song SHOOT (Firecracker) featuring her direct involvement in writing, composing, and arranging. The project highlights her ambition and individuality, marking a strong statement of identity as a solo artist.

The album has already performed strongly worldwide, topping Korea’s Hanteo Daily Album Chart on release day and breaking into the Top 5 of the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
Meanwhile, TWICE continue to expand their global influence. Their sixth world tour, This Is For, features 360-degree open seating and ambitious large-scale productions. The group also achieved new career highs with TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG) from the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters OST, as well as Strategy from their 14th mini album, both earning spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and other global charts.
Looking ahead, TWICE will release their 10th anniversary special album TEN: The Story Goes On on Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. KST. They will also celebrate with fans at their anniversary fan meeting 10VE UNIVERSE on Oct. 18 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
