[OSENWORLD] Rising boy group NEWBEAT is stepping into the global webtoon scene with their first OST collaboration.
On September 26, the seven-member group — Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeoyeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yun-hu, and Kim Riwoo — will release a special music video in partnership with global webtoon platform Tappytoon’s original BL series Bullet Time. The project will be unveiled simultaneously on NEWBEAT’s official YouTube and social media channels, as well as Tappytoon’s platforms.
The collaboration features NEWBEAT’s debut track Flip the Coin from their first album RAW AND RAD. Known for its addictive old-school hip-hop sound, the track explores the coexistence of dualities in the world — a theme that resonates strongly with the storyline of Bullet Time.
The animated music video sets Flip the Coin against Bullet Time’s cyberpunk-inspired narrative of mafia gangs, spies, and a dangerous love triangle rooted in the past. Dynamic character animations merge with the groove-heavy track and bold lyric typography, heightening immersion for viewers.
For webtoon fans, this crossover offers a new way to experience beloved characters and stories. For K-pop listeners, it’s a gateway to discovering Tappytoon’s original universe.
NEWBEAT has already built strong rookie momentum as a fifth-generation boy group, with members including Boys Planet alum Park Min-seok and former TO1 member Jeon Yeo-jeong. Despite their recent debut, they’ve headlined a global launch show on Mnet, held a fan showcase on SBS, and appeared at major events including 2025 Lovesome Festival, KCON LA 2025, and the K-World Dream Awards.
Their Bullet Time collaboration video will premiere on September 26 at 3 p.m. KST.
